About our company

Thriving Healthy Women was formed to educate women about health and wellness, not just physically but also spiritually and emotionally.  There is so much information about women’s health put out by government departments, charities, media or ‘so called’ experts but so much of this advice is contradictory.  Who and what do you believe?  Thriving Healthy Women have done the research for you, we present a library of information, articles and resources that you can trust.  But don’t just take our word for it, we want you to question everything and that includes us! We are a completely independent organisation, we do not accept funding from anyone and consequently we have no hidden agendas.  We encourage you to begin or to continue your own journey towards optimal wellness.  Read, learn, start to make changes, do what works for you, take it step by step, use your intuition and wisdom, share and help others to empower themselves.

Thriving Healthy Women was founded by Miranda Bond and Jenni Williams, two working mothers based near Sydney, Australia.  Today Thriving Healthy Women is more than just a company it is a movement of women around the globe who are empowering themselves to THRIVE.

THRIVE             1) to grow vigorously, to flourish

                        2) to grow stronger, to prosper

                        3) to progress towards or realise a goal

This is an exert from an interview conducted in April 2005 for Healthy Living magazine, Miranda Bond is speaking about the formation of Thriving Healthy Women:

“That is why we began Thriving Healthy Women, to educate women across the globe, to create a network of like minded women who are willing to step up and empower themselves whatever their journey.  Our network is about growth, it’s about learning and healing, it’s about looking out for ourselves and one another, it’s about sharing information and nurturing.  It’s about not simply taking everything you read as gospel, instead thinking why and how certain sources of media or corporations are presenting information to you.  It’s about not believing everything in the shops or at the doctors is safe for you or your children. It’s about questioning and trying what is right for you, it’s about common sense, choices and consequences.  It’s about protecting ourselves, our children and our planet. It’s about being conscious.  Thriving healthy women believe in getting the most out of life.”

Miranda started her career in television production for the BBC, going on to become an interactive television and new media specialist working within many national and international TV networks. She formed her own company Interactive Answers providing consulting services to clients such as Saatchi and Saatchi, ACNielsen and numerous television networks. Miranda is well known for her public speaking skills and has conducted large scale conferences around the globe. Miranda completely changed her career after healing herself of endometriosis and infertility and giving birth to her daughter Lola.  The information that Miranda gained in her journey to health is often either kept from women in our society or simply not promoted as much as it should be - this gave Miranda the passion and determination to tell the real story of women’s health and nutrition. It was after the birth of her daughter that Miranda  decided to dedicate her life to sharing her knowledge with other women. Miranda has been researching health and nutrition for 9 years and has been active in the field of hormonal health for 4 years.

Jenni’s research background is centred around food and nutrition with a particular emphasis on allergies.  Jenni’s Education degree enabled her to enter the profession where she happily worked as a teacher for over 7 years.  It was not until the birth of her first son Alex that Jenni explored the alternative health arena.  Alex has severe allergies and asthma and is anaphylactic to dairy, eggs, nuts and fish.  Jenni became frustrated with the traditional medical route when she was not getting answers for Alex’s problems as you will see if you read Jenni’s Journey.  Taking matters into her own hands Jenni found the way forward was to empower herself and learn everything she could about the factors involved in Alex’s condition.  This enabled her to change not only Alex’s life for the better but also her own and her family’s.  Jenni is still researching this area of health.

About our logo

Our logo is one of the most ancient symbols of the feminine and has been around since the earliest ages of mankind.  It is the triple moon, a representation of the Triple Lunar Goddess representing the three aspects of the moon: waning, full and waxing and womanhood: maiden, mother and crone.  No matter what phase of womanhood we are experiencing, we can all benefit from embracing our feminine.  Taking time to nurture ourselves means we are more able to nurture others.  We all deserve to THRIVE.
